How To Tell If You Got Damage Through Solar Eclipse?
The solar eclipse was celebrated all over the world and people were crazy about the happening of sun and moon on 21st August. The social media and news channel are updating people about the crazy happening and precautions to view the eclipse.
The research department added that this year eclipse was the complete eclipse and occurred after three decades. The doctors across the country getting calls from different people that whether they eyes get hurts while watching the solar eclipse.
So do you watch the solar eclipse directly with your naked eye? The media has warned the people to never watch the sun directly but if you do so then did it cause damage to your eye?
It is hard to tell whether your eye gets damaged as result of watching the solar eclipse! If your eyes getting hurt after watching the sun or skyward then it is impossible to detect whether it is short term happening or long term damage. The professor from vision department explains the condition about sun burn:

- The professor explains that it is difficult to tell whether you got damage from solar eclipse or not before 12 hours. If you saw the sun for few seconds without protective glasses then you hurt very low.
- If you looked the sun with the help of camera or smartphone then nothing happened to your eye but if someone forgot to use filters entirely then there’s a possibility they caught permanent damage.
What might someone’s symptom if they watch solar eclipse without filters?
- There’s nothing to say before 12 hours’ time period. If you caught any damage then it will display in the next morning when you view the things blurred. You are facing the problem while viewing different things or you caught damage with a back of the eye.
- The professors explained that watching 10 seconds at solar eclipse was too long while watching 20 seconds definitely made problem for your retina. It was fine to watch solar eclipse just for one or two seconds because it doesn’t hurt you.
If you got the damage to your eyes then it will take months, years for eyes to return to the normal state. If you got pain with your eye then you should surely visit the doctor as pain in the retina after solar eclipse doesn’t sound fine.
